ENM Discussion Group

Exploring polyamory or ethical non-monogamy can bring up meaningful questions about attachment, boundaries, communication, jealousy, and self-trust.

This monthly discussion group offers a facilitated, in-person space for adults who want to explore non-monogamy thoughtfully; without pressure, judgment, or the expectation to have it all figured out.

This is a place for reflection, learning, and community dialogue, grounded in emotional awareness and mutual respect.

What This Group Is

This is a psychoeducational discussion group that is:

  • Facilitated by a licensed marriage and family therapist

  • Trauma-informed and attachment-aware

  • Structured, supportive, and intentionally paced

  • Focused on reflection, shared learning, and respectful dialogue

You do not need prior experience with polyamory to attend.

What This Group Is Not

To help create a safe and sustainable container, it’s important to name what this group is not:

  • Not group therapy

  • Not crisis or trauma-processing support

  • Not a dating or hookup group

  • Not a replacement for individual or couples therapy

While this group is guided by clinical insight, participation does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Topics We May Explore

Each month may include discussion and light psychoeducation around topics such as:

  • Polyamory and other ethical non-monogamy structures

  • Attachment styles in non-monogamy

  • Jealousy, insecurity, and comparison

  • Boundaries vs. control

  • Communicating needs across multiple relationships

  • Repair after rupture

  • Consent, autonomy, and accountability

  • Choosing relationship structures that genuinely fit you

Topics may evolve based on group interest and needs.
